The laptop exclusively connects wirelessly. To my chagrin, there is no "Enable Proxy" field to modify. I have to power cycle the Comcast modem and that usually populates the fields with WAN IP addresses, as it should, and I am back with internet capabilities. Any help would be appreciated- it doesn't seem right that my Node Type is not set to Mixed or Hybrid and that my Connection-Specific DNS suffix isn't something like hsd1.
And "Enable Proxy" is missing in the registry hive that I spoke of earlier. I wonder if there is a correlation with my connection drops and these statistics.
