There is no classroom portion in the IRC, the entire class is spent riding on the motorcycles. Students take a riding evaluation as part of the course. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a valid driver license and a Motorcycle Safety Course Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Students will have a riding evaluation during the course. If the student passes this evaluation, he or she will receive a New Hampshire Motorcycle Rider Training Program completion card.

The student can take that completion card to the NH DMV within one year and receive a motorcycle endorsement on their driver license. Many students choose to take the IRC multiple times. As long as the student remains eligible for the class and does not present a hazard on the range he or she can repeat the class. Students who require extensive additional practice are recommended to take the Basic Rider Course again. Students use their own registered, state-inspected motorcycles for range exercises.

The ERC provides an intensive hands-on approach to motorcycle rider training. The course focuses on a variety of crash avoidance maneuvers, control at low speed, cornering finesse and limited space maneuvers.

This course is a great refresher to start the season. Upon successful completion of the course, including passing a riding evaluation, riders will receive a completion card as proof of attendance in this safety course.

Students must have a valid driver license with a motorcycle endorsement. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a Motorcycle Safety Course Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Students must provide their own motorcycles. Motorcycles must be street legal, currently registered and inspected.

We started this company to provide more opportunities for people to get into a motorcycle training course. All of our instructors are very experienced riders and certified to teach by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. We task our instructors to treat all of our customers as they would want a member of their family treated if they were taking the course. RETS curricula promotes lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches and other trainers.

MSF also actively participates in government relations, safety research, public awareness campaigns and the provision of technical assistance to state training and licensing programs.
