I dont know how If you know how that would be great! They're wrong. Blaming "shared IRQs" is either a leftover from the ISA days, or a way for their support techs to get annoying callers to go away.
Sorry, we can't help you. This doesn't change for different HALs, nor even for different operating systems. That means four possible different IRQs. If I were you I would test your slot with other cards whether they be network adapters or not just to be sure that the card itself isnt caput.

Ok thanx for the help, I just purchased one of them adapters. Fahrenheit You can also do something with IRQ's in the bios. See if there is anything in there to control this. Just a thought.
