Aom multiplayer patch

I understand a lot of people play AOM most probably an old purchase on voobly, so what I want to know is how many people still play this game? And what would it take to get them to migrate to this version?

I know that they're mainly upset about two things, price and multiplayer performance. If the upcoming patch were to fix multiplayer issues, would we see a significant increase in player count? Showing 1 - 9 of 9 comments.

If they patch a security hole, it's not because there's some vague potential risk, but you can bet it's something that was already actively being abused.

If you do uninstall the patch, I would advise to do it only temporarily. Upload your stats, then immediately reinstall the patch and certainly don't surf or read email in the meantime. I would also strongly advise against disabling the Windows auto-update completely.
